DAROGA JI CHORI HO GAYEE

DAROGA JI CHORI HO GAYEE

About the Play

The youth of today is running behind the materialistic world. They desire to fulfill their demands at the cost of any relationship. They do not tend to understand the difference between right and wrong in doing so. They are carving to become something irrespective of what they are. In the process of doing the same they are unknowingly becoming a part of the corrupted system of the society.

How does a government clerk try to use the opportunity in front of him? Corruption has become so prevalent and inseparable part of the government system, that the money obtained from bribe is treated as privilege.

An important aspect of the drama is reflected by the character of ‘Daroga’ through which writer has tried to diminish the cruel, unmannered and dictator image of police and has portrayed a soft hearted visage of the police.

Despite all these the main aim of the play is to entertain the audience, so that they can forget their day to day problems while watching the play and find few moments to relax and be happy. Last but not the least they return home with a big smile on their faces.
